About Mr. Minner
The DAWGS Program at Laurel High School was instituted in order to recognize students and staff who exemplify the following qualities. 8th graders at Laurel Middle School are being introduced to the program so that they may begin to strive for greater success now.
- They are disciplined in all that they do. They do what they are expected to do when they are expected to do it.
- DAWGS are constantly setting goals to which they aspire to achieve; and they achieve them through persistence and hard work.
- Recipients have a strong work ethic. They recognize the goal and get the job done.
- DAWGS continuously set new goals and work to achieve them for the betterment of themselves, their futures, and their school.
- Students and staff who recognize that service to the school is more worthy than simply service to self are representative of what a DAWG is.
